Management: everyone’s got an opinion on it.

Whether it’s the change in management of your local café, personal time management or the management of a corporation or the country…we all understand the results of good or bad management, but understanding how ‘management’ should be implemented is a continuous debate.

Part of this is because in whatever field you want to discuss, there are changing needs.

So in honour of the management innovator himself, the Peter Drucker Society of Europe is launching an international essay contest for the managers of tomorrow.

Eligibility: anyone under the age of 35

Theme: “Continuity and Change – Balancing Innovation and Time-Tested Practices”

Topic: Where do you see the biggest and most realistic opportunities for innovation and change – and where would they be most needed? How can we be successful in managing those changes?

For more details, head to the website – it should be an interesting challenge given the current state of the world economy, but even more for the essays that go beyond the obvious financial issues and look at other areas of society.
