How to kill an industry

I’ve been told I’m too picky. Often. Fine, most of my wine choices are above $30 (ie. out of the regular uni student budget). But surely I am not the only person to see a problem with this:

“Best Deal: Buy Yellowglen Bubblies in Cold Storage/Market Place and get a bottle of Crown Lager Free! Best Australia Bubbly with Most Premium Australian Beer! Whatcha waiting for?”

That hurts. That’s meant to be the best Australia can do?

It’s enough that we get ribbed about Fosters and Yellowtail already. Marketing should work to the strengths of a product – maybe in this case it’s ignorance.
